Walter Salas-Humara has a fine pedigree as a punk/Americana/alt-country songwriter and guitarist. More important than a pedigree, his performances are warm, fun and enlightening. He occasionally sings in Spanish, loves adding percussion to his songs, and he’s an excellent visual artist as well. Walter “love(s) playing house concerts. They are a completely different experience from a club show. All of the artifice is stripped away. No stage, no dressing room, no barrier between the performer and the audience. The shows seem like one step closer to the way music was intended - an artist traveling from town to town, telling stories and making friends.”
