Joel Paterson plays jazz, blues, western swing and everything in between, and he’ll be doing that in a special solo show here. Joel is one of the busiest guitarists and steel guitarists on the roots music scene today, and his band plays every Monday night at Chicago’s most iconic jazz spot, The Green Mill Cocktail Lounge. Joel also plays lead guitar with the Western Elstons, and when Deke Dickerson is in town, he calls upon Joel to join him onstage. Joel is worldly wise regarding guitars and the types of music he plays and he’ll have great stories and history to share with us.
